Crown princess Mary in Myanmar, Day 2 (11 January 2014)

  Crown princess Mary visited the 2,500 year old Buddhist temple, Shwedagon Pagoda, in Yangon. Mary visited Shwedagon Pagoda, which is Myanmar's most famous and important cultural and religious landmarks. It is reported that the pagoda has been around for more than 2,600 years, making it the oldest historic pagoda in the world.
